A new notice of funding opportunity, established through a collaboration between the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and PCORI, invites applications from qualified institutions to create Learning Health System (LHS) Embedded Scientist Training and Research Centers. Each center will support the professional development of scientists to conduct patient-centered outcomes research and comparative clinical effectiveness research that will accelerate progress toward an integrated learning health system and build a critical and sustainable LHS research workforce.
